Taylor Swift has been hailed a "badass" performer by country music legend Miranda Lambert.
The Bad Blood singer loves surprising fans at her concerts by bringing her A-list friends up on stage. So far Karlie Kloss, Julia Roberts and Selena Gomez are among those who've made the cut and on Wednesday (21Oct15) Miranda, 31, joined the list. Her performance went down well with the crowd at Taylor's 1989 Tour show and seems the singer herself also had an amazing time.
"@taylorswift13 .... You are a bad ass! Amazing show! #inspired ," she praised the musician.
Taylor also took straight to Twitter to share the highlights from the night. Among them was a clip of Miranda working the stage, surrounded by hunky backing dancers.
"This is a video of @mirandalambert sitting on a throne of men at #1989TourGreensboro," Taylor captioned the snippet.
Taylor, 25, started out with a country sound but has slowly distanced herself from the genre to embrace pop. Despite Taylor's departure from the genre, Miranda has always been a big fan of the singer and is grateful to her for changing the face of country.
"Taylor Swift is a pop singer," Miranda previously told W magazine. "But she really helped country music. When she hit, I was thinking, 'Thank God Taylor's out there to show people we're not cheesy.' Some people still think that country music is twangy and cheesy, and they pigeonhole us. But I thought if they're looking for Taylor's videos or songs, they might see or hear other people they like. If her fans are watching for her, they might like me too."
The 1989 World Tour will move to Asia in November (15) and finish on 12 December 2015 with a show in Melbourne, Australia.
