The pair dated for three months in 2009 after meeting on the set of Valentine's Day where they played high school sweethearts, but split in the December after apparently deciding that they were 'better as friends' a source told Us Weekly at the time.
But the country star and the Twilight actor were spotted sat together at the awards in University City, California, where an onlooker said they were enjoying each other's company.
'They sat next to each other during the ceremony,' an audience member told JustJared.com. 'They were laughing and having nonstop fun with each other.'
After the split, Swift, 21, went on to date John Mayer, Glee's Cory Monteith and Jake Gyllenhaal, but is currently single.
