Taylor Swift once baked Ed Sheeran a pie, before they bickered over their collaboration.
The British singer-songwriter and blonde pop star worked together on their track Everything Has Changed, which entered the top ten singles chart in countries around the world following its release last year.
Recalling the creative process behind the hit, Ed admits the pals disagreed on certain aspects.
"I went to her house, she cooked an apple pie... She did. She cooks really good sh*t man. And then she gets up, she has a little Taylor guitar, and she got it out and she's like, 'I've had this idea for this song and it goes...' (Ed does impression, humming the tune and singing the chorus)," he recalled to British radio personality Zane Lowe during an upcoming episode of his series Relentless Ultra Presents Soundchain. "And it kind of had... She pretty much had the verse, bridge and chorus done but we argued about that one chord (plays it). She didn't like that and I kind of forced it upon her!"
Ed and Taylor have been friends for years now, with the Lego House singer supporting the star during her The Red Tour along with contributing to the album. Despite her success in the music industry, 23-year-old Ed felt confident enough to confront Taylor with his opinions.
"It was quite a funny situation though 'cause (her place) it's like surrounded by Grammys - she's got like seven or eight and like Billboard awards and Songwriting Guild and stuff like that and I'm like, 'This chord, huh?' and she's like just (points to the shelf)," he laughed.
The pair are so close that Ed introduced Taylor to his girlfriend Athina Andrelos earlier this year. He also recently shared his romantic hopes for the 22 songstress.
"I met [Orlando Bloom] at The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug premieres in LA and Germany, so we spent four days together," Ed told irishexaminer.com.
"He's so lovely and really cool, and [he and Taylor] live in the same building, so the magic might present itself, eventually."
