You have about five months to learn every word to every song on Red before Taylor Swift kicks off her tour of the same name. The singer has announced that she will hit the road beginning in March 2013.
The shows are slated to kick off on March 13 in Omaha, Nebraska. She will make stops in Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas and Los Angeles, among others, with dates currently slated right through September in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
"I didn't think I could be any more excited about my Red album, but then I start thinking about how I'm going to put the new show together for the Red Tour," Swift said in a statement about the massive jaunt. "I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can't wait to share the new show with all my fans!"
Red-headed British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran has been tapped to open for her on the tour. In addition to being one of her pals, he also appears on her chart-topping new album. He duets with the singer on the track, "Everything Has Changed."
"I was in Australia when I first saw Ed Sheeran's music video for 'Lego House' and I was so blown away by his voice that I found a way to get his album, the entire album, even though it was not on sale in the U.S. yet," Swift shared with MTV News of loving his folkie acoustic pop/rock. "And became a huge fan."
Select tickets will go on sale on November 16. Venues have yet to be announced for all dates, but fans can head to the singer's website to see when she's heading to their town.
