Taylor Swift hosted a star-studded sleepover last weekend.
The 23-year-old singer was eager to invite her celebrity friends over to her lavish new £11 million mansion in Rhode Island. She decided to celebrate the Memorial Day long weekend at the beachfront property with singer Ed Sheeran, actress Hailee Steinfeld and Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr. On Sunday night Girls creator Lena Dunham and her boyfriend Jack Antonoff also joined them for dinner.
During the festivities, Taylor organised for the famous group to go on a fishing trip, with Ed tweeting a photo of the fish he had caught. They also made the most of the country pop star's impressive grounds with an impromptu game of soccer and were spotted enjoying a long walk.
In order to ensure her guests had everything they needed during their stay, Taylor visited a homeware store in Narrangansett before they arrived. She was spotted loading six trolleys with items, including beach towels.
Taylor splashed out on the seaside mansion in April. The house is 11,000 square feet and boasts eight bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms. It sits on 5.23 acres and has stunning views of nearby islands, bays and a light house.
Earlier this month, a Taylor fan was arrested near her Rhode Island abode. A 22-year-old male was taken into custody for trespassing in the early hours of this morning after admitting he swam up to the house.
The overzealous fan reportedly said he wanted to get closer to Taylor, and when asked about his actions by cops he said "he had just completed a swim, in which he intended to meet [her]."
