Taylor Swift has called her Valentine's Day this year "pathetic."
The 22-year-old country singer told Ellen DeGeneres on her show today that she got together with her pals who are not in relationships for the soiree.
But she added that it was not as depressing as people may think.
While promoting her new movie The Lorax, the blonde beauty told of the way she celebrated the day for lovers this year.
"I actually had a pathetic single girls' party. It was cool," she told the talk show host. "That's actually what it was called."
"I'm not saying that being single is pathetic. We've talked about this. I think it's awesome.
"We just ate whatever we wanted and danced. We made these little profile cards about why we're single."
Taylor reportedly had a secret fling with My Week With Marilyn star Eddie Redmayne which recently ended and has also dated Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner and John Mayer.
However, her co-star Zac Efron who was also on the show said that Taylor's little party is something that he would never do for Valentine's Day.
"That's so different than what single guys do," Zac laughed. "I went to a screening of a film that I did called Liberal Arts, then cooked some dinner."
