Taylor Swift Is A 'Girls' Girl,' Despite Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Feud

Just one day after Taylor Swift took jabs at Amy Poehler and Tina Fey in Vanity Fair, she's letting everyone know that she's a "girls' girl."

"I have guy friends, but the problem with having guy friends is, like, I always get linked to them and they'll end up in a slideshow of people I've apparently dated on the Internet," she says in the April issue of InStyle U.K. "I mean, there's all kinds of complicated things with having guys as friends. If they have a girlfriend who doesn't like you or things like that."

In the end, her girlfriends outnumber her guy friends by quite a lot, given all those "complications." She said, "So I have like two or three guy friends. A select few. But I have like 20 to 25 really good girlfriends."

It would seem that among her 20 or so best girls aren't Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. She didn't take too kindly to the funny ladies' jokes about her personal life at the Golden Globes earlier this year, telling VF, "There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women," a reference to a quote former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright once gave.

"If anyone was going to get mad at us, I thought it would be James Cameron," Fey told "Entertainment Tonight" on Tuesday at the premiere of her new movie "Admission." "I did not see that one coming. It was a joke. It was a lighthearted joke."

Fey's response to Swift's Vanity Fair comments came the same day her partner-in-crime, Poehler, also addressed it. Her response? "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."

Meanwhile, inside the pages of InStyle, Swift says she's doing everything she can to avoid becoming a "kind of a self-centred, vain human being." And it seems that despite once naming an album Fearless, she does have some fears.

"I don't wanna end up being awful and intolerable. Alone. Laying in a marble bathtub by myself, like sad, with a glass of wine just complaining that my life ended up alone because I pushed everyone away because I thought I was too good to hang out with anybody," she said, in the issue out Thursday. "The typical Hollywood sad cliché of the poor lonely starlet with no one because she put up all these walls and didn't trust anyone. That's my fear. And that's why I live my life the way I live my life because I'd so much rather feel everything than end up like that."
