The 'Love Story' star stands at an impressive 5ft 11in and admits her heart flutters at men who tower above her.
Taylor – who split from her 'Twilight' actor boyfriend Taylor Lautner in December, and has since been romantically linked to John Mayer and 'Glee' star Cory Monteith – said: "The bad thing about being tall is the majority of people are at a different eye level than you, and so you feel like you're looking down to talk to people, which is kind of unnatural – looking down to talk to people, and they have to look way up to talk to you.
"It just depends on what group of people you're around. If there are a few scattered tall people in the room or in the group of people that you're talking to, it's not awkward at all. But if you're around a bunch of little, mini-people and you're the only giant in the circle, it can be kind of interesting."
But height isn't everything to the 20-year-old pop star, it's also important for a man to be able to make her laugh.
She added to America's OK! magazine: "Somebody who has a compatible sense of humour with me, that would be the most important thing."
It seems Taylor won't have to look too far for a new man, as Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson – who duetted with her on single 'Two is Better Than One' – appears to have a crush on her.
He said: "Taylor Swift is the perfect human being. She's great. She's such a nice, wholehearted, sweet girl, and she's the biggest superstar in the world. My mom would be stoked if I brought her home."
