Taylor Swift is certain she'll "branch out" in her career one day.
The country pop star is known for writing songs about personal experiences.
Taylor believes she will eventually run out of stories about her own life, which is when she'll pen lyrics from other peoples' points of view.
"I'm sure at some point in my career I'll branch out and do albums that relate to other peoples' stories or have a different overall theme," she admitted to the latest edition of UK magazine Look. "But I'll always write from the heart and I'll continue to write about love, because romance is something we are all looking for."
Taylor keeps a notebook by her bed as a way to record dreams or thoughts. The 23-year-old musician uses these as inspiration for tunes and often gets her best ideas by moonlight.
"It's when a lot of the good ideas come," she agreed. "When I'm travelling on a plane or in a car, I'll start thinking, too. I think of things in the form of lyrics."
The award-winning star has made an estimated $57 million through her record sales.
Taylor insists she isn't jaded by her success yet, and is loving every moment of it.
"Winning awards is a big deal - these are the stories you're going to tell your kids. I'm never going to be bored by this and I'll never take this for granted," she firmly stated.
