She told US Weekly, 'Every person I've fallen for - they've all been a song. That kind of justifies them being in my life.'
Rumoured ex John Mayer is thought to be the subject of the 20-year-old's track Dear John on her forthcoming album Speak Now.
Although she hasn't confirmed that it is about the 33-year-old. The singer said that some men are scared off from her in case they end up in a song.
'Guys will say something like, 'Oh, I'd better never make you mad because you'd write something about it.' Or, 'I don't want to be one of those guys,'' she said.
