The country singer's comments were made during a 2008 interview with Allure – a year before the rapper interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
But the 20-year-old says she had forgotten about making that comment.
She tells the US beauty magazine: 'I forgot about that! Oh, wow! That's… wow, that's eerie, isn't it?'
Swift, who appears on the front cover of the magazine’s December issue, also tells Allure that she has forgiven the Gold Digger singer.
When asked to talk about a picture of her onstage at the event with Beyoncé – who later graciously let the country star finish her speech – Swift jokes: 'You want to know what dress I'm wearing?
'No, I mean, of course, I've been asked about this a lot… and I've always believed in forgiveness, once someone has the courage to apologise and does so with sincerity.
