Taylor Swift has opened up about her "serial dater" reputation.
The 25-year-old singer has been romantically linked to stars including John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and One Direction singer Harry Styles.
But Taylor insists the reputation she has earned through her past relationships is entirely unfair.
"I was really irritated by the whole serial-dater play that people tried to make about me," Taylor told the March edition of America's Vogue magazine. "I just decided I wasn't willing to provide them that kind of entertainment anymore. I wasn't going to go out on dates and have them be allowed to take pictures and say whatever they wanted about our body language. I wasn't going to sit next to somebody and flirt with them for five minutes, because I know the next day he'll be rumored to be my boyfriend."
Taylor has been single since her relationship with Harry Styles.
And despite recent rumours of a romance with singer Hozier, Taylor told the publication she's not looking for a partner any time soon.
"It's unfortunate that now I have this feeling like if I were to open myself up to love, that would be a career weakness."
Taylor covers the publication alongside best friend, and supermodel, Karlie Kloss.
And in the interview, Taylor admits she had been told she and Karlie would hit it off for years before they actually met.
"People had been telling us for years we needed to meet," Taylor said. "I remember makeup artists and hair people going, 'Doesn't she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They're the same. Karlie's such a good girl. She brings us cookies every time we do a shoot.'"
