Nashville got a whole lot of love from pop star Taylor Swift.
The Associated Press is reporting that the young singer is celebrating her 24th birthday by gifting the Nashville Symphony $100,000.
The Tennessean (http://tnne.ws/IM8CWE) reports the singer made a $100,000 contribution to the organization.
Nashville Symphony publicist Laurie Davis confirmed the donation on Saturday and said more information would be available to the press on Monday.
The symphony was in a financial quagmire and reached a deal with creditors earlier this year to avoid bankruptcy and prevent the sale of its Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
