Taylor Swift will debut a new song at the MTV Video Music Awards next month.
The country singer recently revealed she is releasing her fourth studio album, Red, in October. It has now been confirmed that Taylor will perform a track from the new record at the awards ceremony on September 6.
Taylor isn't the only big name set to grace the stage at the VMAs.
Other acts scheduled to perform include One Direction, Pink and Green Day. Alicia Keys also recently announced she will be unveiling a new track during the show.
Taylor's lead single from Red, titled We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, is already performing well in the charts and looks set to break download records.
The blonde beauty is currently dating Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s son Conor, but has admitted that past heartbreaks have influenced her new material.
"I tend to kind of skew in the direction of writing songs about love...that's kind of where I naturally go. These songs are about really dysfunctional and not good generally relationships," Taylor recently revealed. "There's a really, really romantic song to my lovely ex-boyfriend. It's called We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
