Taylor Swift Will Reportedly Sing 'Back To December' At CMAs

When Taylor Swift takes the stage at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night, she just might get her ballad on. According to Us Magazine, the country pop star might sing "Back To December" at the awards show, where Swift is up for Female Vocalist of the Year.

The track, which appears on Swift's new album Speak Now, is widely believed to be about Taylor Lautner. "She rehearsed last night and sounded great," a source told the website. "It's a very emotional performance — just her sitting at the piano, strings playing. It'll definitely be a 'moment' in the show."

A rep for the singer told, "Sorry, but we never announce performances ahead of time."

Swift spoke to MTV News about the song last month. "I've never felt the need to apologize in a song before. But in the last two years I've experienced a lot, [including] a lot of different kinds of learning lessons," she said. "And sometimes you learn a lesson too late and at that point you need to apologize because you were careless."

On the tune's chorus, Swift sings, "So this is me swallowing my pride/ Standing in front of you saying 'I'm sorry' for that night/ And I go back to December all the time/ It turns out freedom ain't nothing/ Missing you, wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine/ I'd go back to December, turn around and make it all right/ I go back to December all the time."
