The 'Love Story' singer ' whose former lovers include 'Twilight' actor Taylor Lautner and Disney star Joe Jonas ' isn't afraid to blast guys on her records, but believes one day one of exes may retaliate with an unkind verse.
She told the American edition of Glamour magazine: 'Eventually I'm sure one of my exes will write a response ' that's a pretty scary concept, actually. But I make sure I only write bad songs about the ones who deserve it.'
Taylor, 20, also revealed her attitude to guys has changed dramatically over the years as well as the qualities she looks for in a man.
She said: 'n high school, I used to think it was like sooooo cool if a guy had an awesome car. Now none of that matters. These days I look for character and honesty and trust. I've learned that you can't predict love or plan for it.
'For someone like me who is obsessed with organisation and planning, I love the idea that love is the one exception to that. Love is the one wild card.'
Although she vents her feelings in her music, Taylor insists she won't write a track about Lautner ' who she split from last December ' because they are still good friends.
She added: 'Taylor's one of my best friends. He's wonderful, and we'll always be close. I'm so thankful for that.'
During an appearance on TV show 'Saturday Night Live', Taylor once performed a song about her relationships which included the lines: "I like writing songs about douche-bags who cheat on me / But I'm not going to say that in my monologue / I like writing their names into songs so they're ashamed to go out in public / But I'm not going to say that in my monologue."
