As a pre-cursor to the 12-date NME Awards Tour running through February - The Vaccines - will play a very special warm up gig at Kings College, London (KCLSU) on January 29th.
The Londoners will play an intimate gig before hitting the road with Crystal Castles, Magnetic Man and Everything Everything.
Their first release, Wreckin' Bar/Blow it Up, came out last week while the East London four-piece will be following in the footsteps of previous NME Awards Tour graduates Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs and Florence and the Machine.
Tickets will go on sale exclusively via NME.COM on Wednesday 1st December, and generally via Gigs and Tours and Ticketmaster on Friday 3rd December, for £8.50 with support bands to be announced.
The NME Awards Tour begins on February 3rd and tours the UK until February 19th, when they play London's O2 Academy Brixton. The NME Awards 2011 will take place on February 23rd at the same venue.
