Tokyo Police Club release 'Elephant Shell'

Tokyo Police Club, release their debut album Elephant Shell, 5th May on Memphis Industries and return to the UK to tour in May and June.

The first pressing of Elephant Shell will include a bonus disc, which includes 7 exclusive recordings available only in the UK.

Following the release of A Lesson in Crime the band set about tearing round the world in a beat up transit, touring the US four times in '07 playing variously with Cold War Kids and Bloc Party, selling out two headline shows at El Rey and three nights at the Bowery Ballroom and standing out as highlights of Lollapalooza and Coachella.

In the UK they sold out their first headline tour in seconds and played both Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds.

Unsurprisingly, after finishing the album in early 2008, Tokyo Police Club are already back on the road in the USA and plan to tour the UK in May and June.
