Toni Braxton: Good hygiene is a must!

Toni Braxton needs a man with "good hygiene".

The 47-year-old You're Makin' Me High songstress divorced from former husband Keri Lewis in 2013.

And since Toni has been single woman for two years now, she has had plenty of time to reflect on her ideal mate.

"He has to be fun," the singer told Entertainment Tonight while describing the man she'd like to date in the future. "I like to laugh. Make me laugh. Good hygiene is important. Can afford to date. That's kind of important. You shouldn't say that out loud, but I have to say that out loud. You have to be able to afford to date -- afford to be in a relationship. I don't think it works for me -- maybe it's my personality -- if we're unequally yoked financially."

Toni is contemplating getting back into the dating game by signing up for a romantic matchmaking services online.

But she is wary about meeting a new lover through technological means.

"I've been thinking about a dating service," Toni shared. "I'm not completely comfortable. What do you do? You put your picture up? The profile? What do you say? Do I have a name like Cinnamon?"

Toni shares sons Denim, 13, and Diezel, 12, with her ex Keri.

The Un-Break My Heart songstress has previously spoken about the profound heartbreak she experienced over ending her marriage.

"I had to figure out a plan for my life that had nothing to do with him," Toni explained during her VH1 Behind the Music TV special. "I was angry with everybody. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I felt that I was a person dealing with a lot of struggles and here comes another one."
