13 άλογα κολυμπούν στη θάλασσα
περιμένοντας κάποιον να τα βρει.
Το πλοίο τους είναι παρελθόν και τώρα είναι μόνα
Γύρω τους έχει παντού νερό.
Οι αναβάτες τους σώθηκαν από το βυθιζόμενο πλοίο
ακριβώς τη στιγμή που τυλίχτηκε στις φλόγες.
Και όσο εκείνοι ήταν ασφαλείς οι πιστοί φίλοι τους χρειάζονταν βοήθεια, περιμένοντάς τους υπομονετικά να γυρίσουν.
13 άλογα κολυμπούν στη θάλασσα και δεν έχουν
την μπαραμικρή ιδέα πως είναι ανώφελο.
Η υπερηφάνειά τους έχει παραμείνει όμως αυτή τη φορά δε
θα τα βοηθήσει, κάποτε ήταν τόσο ψηλά και τωρα φαντάζουν μικροσποπικά.
Δύο από αυτά έχουν μείνει πίσω με διαφορά
σε λίγο θα είναι εκτός οπτικού πεδίου.
Εκείνη την ώρα όμως ποιός νοιάζεται, όπως
και να ΄χει πεθαίνουν. Όλα τους είναι καταδικασμένα
εκείνη τη νύχτα.

στην ίδια θάλασσα που θεώρησαν ποταμάκι.
Είναι συνηθισμένα στις προκλήσεις, είναι ένας απλός
αγώνας, όμως πού είναι η γράμμη λήξης;
Το σκοτάδι είναι πιο βαθύ, το σώμα τους ζητάει ανάπαυση.

Θέλουν να ζήσουν ανεξάρτητα από το πόσο.
έχουν αδειάσει από σκέψεις εξαιτίας του φόβου.
7 άλογα αγωνίζονται στη θάλασσα.
Περιμένοντας κάποιον να τα βρει,
Δεν κοιτάζουν πίσω τους, ποιό το όφελος;
Τα ακολουθεί ο θάνατος.
Ουρλιάζουν για μια βοήθεια που ποτέ δε θα ΄ρθει.
Δεν ξέρουν προς τα που να κολυμπήσουν ή από που
ξεκίνησαν. Προσπαθούν να κολυμπήσουν κι άλλο λίγο
όταν ο πανικός αρχίζει να εξαπλώνεται. Από μέσα τους
κολυμπάνε ήδη για τη ακτη.
Τα τελευταία 3 άλογα πεθαίνουν στη θάλασσα
κάνοντας ηχηρότερες τις εκκλήσεις στους στο κενό.
Ουρλιάζουν στους εαυτούς τους πως γεννήθηκαν γαι να κερδίζουν. Με δύναμη χιλιάδων αντρών παλεύουν ως το τέλος.
Ο ήλιος είναι ψηλά, έχει πουλιά ολόγυρά τους.
Πετάνε ψηλά σκίζοντας τον ουρανό. Είναι ωραίο να
φεύγεις όταν η ζωή μοιάζει με τέτοια ευλογία. Το ένα
άλογο που κολυμπαέι φαίνεται πως είναι το τελευταίο.
Το δεκατοτρίτο άλογο ήταν πάντα το καλύτερο.
Ο ιδικτήτης του θα είναι περήφανος όμως εκείνος θέλει να ξεκουραστεί. Πεθύμησε το σπίτι του, η κοπέλα θα του δώσει φαγητό. "Καλό αγόρι" θα του πει και θα παίξουν παρέα.
13 άλογα κολυμπούν στη θάλασσα και σε λίγο δε θα ΄χει απομείνει κανένα.Όσο κολυμπούν όμως αφήνουν πίσω τους την ελπίδα. Την ελπίδα που είναι αθάνατη.
