Big Sean doesn't make mistakes when it comes to relationships.
Up until recently, the hip-hop star enjoyed a sizzling romance with pop babe Ariana Grande. However, they parted ways in April and Big Sean now reveals he has no regrets.
"Man, you know, I don't plan relationships. They just happen," Big Sean told ET. "That's all it is. I'm just... I'm just living it. It's no, it's no God, it's no script. You know, we just out here doing what we doin'. Feelin' it out.
"It's no mistakes in life, though only lessons."
Big Sean, who was previously engaged to Glee star Naya Rivera, was talking on the red carpet at last night's BET Awards.
Some of the biggest names in music turned out for the awards show, including Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Janet Jackson.
Janet made a triumphant return to stage, wowing in white as she picked up the Ultimate Icon Music Dance Visual Award.
"It's been a very long journey. My heart is so full. Thank you God for making everything possible. I am so grateful for the support you've always given me," she told the crowd.
Puff Daddy also put in a performance, but things didn't exactly go to plan and he ended up falling through a hole on stage. He soon recovered though and even had fans offering a helping hand.
The BET Awards, established by the Black Entertainment Television network in 2001, was held in Los Angeles.
