Big Sean and Ariana Grande are making beautiful music together once more.
The 21-year-old pop star is adding her soulful vocals to her rapper boyfriend's latest track, Research. And with the pair a besotted couple in real life, Sean calls the process of working together "easy".
"It's easy. That video is basically real life. It's about things I learned about patience. I feel like if you can master patience, you can almost master anything," the 26-year-old told Access Hollywood Live.
The couple first worked together on Ariana's song Right There.
With their romance going from strength to strength, having finally confirmed they were an item last October following months of speculation, their chemistry on set is palpable. Indeed, Sean says it makes the whole process that much smoother.
"There's no awkwardness, there's nothing to worry about," he explained.
Just this week, Sean revealed what it was about Ariana that made him fall head over heels for her. While her beauty and talent were certainly factors, he says it's her ambition that he most related to.
"What I like in women is when they got drive and focus, you know what I mean? That's what I like, I attach to, I appreciate, because I got drive, I got focus, too. And every day I'm like, 'You gotta get it,'" he revealed during an interview on The Real.
Sean was previously engaged to Glee actress Naya Rivera before calling off their wedding in April 2014. And while the lyrics of his recent single I Don't F*** With You seemed to be aimed squarely at his ex, he has once again insisted that is not the case at all.
"It's about a whole bunch of people. As an artist, it's my responsibility to rap about the things I go through, the ups and downs," he revealed. "I can tell you truthfully, when I wrote this song, I had no relationship problems. It's not like I wrote it about her, to keep it real."
