Overview
The Burlesque star will join the NBC's talent show The Voice as a professional musician.
Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of Alternative Programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios, said, 'Christina has a once in a generation talent - her voice is phenomenally distinctive and instantly recognisable. Her journey as an artist, who started so young in the music business, will be an inspiration to the talent she coaches on the show.'
Christina Aguilera added, 'To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists' careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms.'
She joins other coaches Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine.
