Christina Aguilera takes her new man to a winter wonderland

There are some people who find themselves in positions they never dreamed of, pinching their arms to make sure they are not dreaming.

So picture the scene of being a production assistant in the film industry, expecting to spend Christmas in your apartment but finding yourself instead holed up in a luxury pad in the French Alps resort of Courchevel with a feisty birthday girl who looks strikingly like Christina Aguilera.

That is exactly what happened to the sexy singer’s new boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, who she got to know while on the set of her new film, Burlesque. Along with spending time with the singer on her 30th birthday, the lucky fella also accompanied her on a snuggly horse and carriage ride through the well known ski resort and obviously felt like all his Christmases had come at once.

Questions were always going to be asked about Aguilera’s ex-husband who was left tending to son Max while the singer wined and dined her new man, and plenty of journalists were happy to oblige. Whatever they say, though, I doubt that it will be bothering the couple in their winter wonderland.
