Rockstar Games are to reveal the release date of Grand Theft Auto V in a matter of weeks, it has been reported.
The reveal was teased in the latest edition of the US version of Official Xbox Magazine.
The story read: "Time's up, says The Ball. Expect Grand Theft Auto V to be announced later this summer."
Rumours of GTAV intensitifed earlier this year when a Hollywood talent agency held auditions for a number of roles for a title codenamed Rush.
Grand Theft Auto V is believed to be set in modern day Los Angeles, with a major character returning from GTA IV Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
It had previously been reported that GTAV would be released in 2012.
Grand Theft Auto IV was released in 2008, and spawned two spin-offs, The Lost and the Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
