While Gwyneth was in the middle of talking about food the host Regis Philbin, 79, unexpectedly asked her for a kiss.
After a long kiss on the cheek from Gwyneth he said: 'Wow that was some kiss. I don't care about this any more,' he said, referring to the tuna burgers they were cooking together.
'I don't really like tuna,' he said.
Female host Kelly Ripa then came in for a piece of the action while Regis looked on in glee.
'I'm here for the burgers and the kissing,' she said as Gwyneth gave her one.
Earlier in the show The Talented Mr. Ripley actress admitted she is so bad at maths she can't help her daughter Apple, 6, with her homework.
'I'm painfully bad at maths,' said the Oscar-winner. 'I can’t help my six-year-old daughter with her homework.”:
The country music singer and Glee performer also admitted that science is not her strong point either.
'I'm pretty bad at science too,' said the 38-year-old.
