The actress is believed to have enjoyed an intimate dinner at Tertulia – a new Spanish restaurant in New York's West Village – with husband Chris Martin and the expectant parents.
According to Us Weekly, the night must have been quite tame because Gwyneth was spotted dropping seven-year-old daughter Apple off at school in Manhattan the next morning.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, she told her fans, 'Thank you for all of my happy birthday wishes, just read so many. You guys make my life great.'
