Speaking to US entertainment show Extra at the LA premiere of her new film Country Strong, Paltrow discussed how she had to learn guitar for her role as a country music star in the movie.
But while her daughter Apple, six, enjoys country music, her son Moses, four, 'loves hip-hop' and Gwyneth admits Jay-Z is one of his favourite acts.
The 38-year-old wife of Coldplay singer Chris Martin wore a revealing backless white dress to the premiere.
The dress was slashed right down over her hips, held together with criss-crossed ties.
