Gwyneth Paltrow plays boozed-up country singer in new film

The trailer for the new film, Country Strong, sees the 38-year-old actress standing vulnerably in her bra and clutching a bottle of booze.

Other scenes show her standing on a table in a packed bar, holding a shot glass.

Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, plays the role of singer Kelly Canter in the new flick.

Her character embarks on a tour with a rising singer-songwriter, played by actor Garrett Hedlund, in a bid to resurrect her career.
