Overview
The 38-year-old actress learned to play the guitar for the role and even performed the title track for the movie at the Country Music Awards last year.
Talking at the film's premier, Paltrow told On The Red Carpet that she felt a connection with her character of alcoholic country singer Kelly Canter.
'Sometimes you go to a premiere for a movie that, you know, you like but this is especially great,' she said. 'I'm really proud of this film and I'm really proud of the work and performances, so it's great to be here.'
