Gwyneth detailed her trip to China in her 'Beijing Scrapbook' on her weekly Goop blog, revealing all about her two-day stay in the city.
The actress wrote: 'I had always wanted to visit mainland China, so when I was invited to Beijing to perform at an event, I jumped at the very generous invitation. It was a brief but memorable trip.'
She visited Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City and performed a set with her hotel's house band Xpress in a bar just before jetting back to the US.
