'There's absolutely nothing perfect about my life, but I just try hard.'
Paltrow also discussed her famous friendship and bond with power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Gwyneth, who featured in a special edition interview in this weeks GOOP newsletter with the US rapper, said: 'You know how sometimes you meet people and they're like family to you? There's a deep level of trust and similar senses of humour, family, work ethic. We have a lot in common, and we feel lucky that we all have each other.'
According to USA Today, the wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin added: 'It's funny because I know people think, 'How is that friendship?' because we come from such different worlds, but I think we're more alike than the people I grew up next door to. It's funny how life is like that.'
