Gwyneth Paltrow has been invited to perform a short acoustic set at a festival.
The actress has recently tried her hand at singing roles with appearances in Glee and her portrayal of an alcoholic singer in Country Strong.
Following the movie's release, several reports suggested that the Hollywood star could be releasing a single or even a whole album, but these plans haven't come to fruition yet.
Now Gwyneth has been asked to perform a short acoustic set at the Music to Know Festival in South Hampton.
'She's been invited but nothing is confirmed yet," her rep told New York Post.
If the mother-of-two, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, does take part, it is believed she will be entertaining revellers in the VIP room.
Gwyneth could be joining a line-up of quirky musicians including American indie band Vampire Weekend and British electro pop singer Ellie Goulding, who performed at Prince William's wedding in April.
