Paltrow, 38, will reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holliday for the third series of hit TV show Glee, series creator Ryan Murphy has announced.
The Country Strong star is already scheduled for a third appearance later in the current series.
Speaking at last night's PaleyFest event for the series, Murphy explained that Gwyneth is 'sort of the muse of the show'.
Another favourite guest star, Kristin Chenoweth, will also be returning to the musical-comedy later this year.
Ryan also confirmed that Glee is working on a show devoted to an album rather than an artist, and that it will be Fleetwood Mac's Rumours.
