JESSICA SIMPSON has denied rumours that she has been dropped from her country music record label.
Reports earlier this week suggested that she had been axed from Sony Nashville after her name was missing from the label's official website.
But Simpson's representative said she was only "on loan" to the label for her country album, and added: "[She] is and has always been an Epic artist and she continues to be on Epic's label."
Simpson's first country LP Do You Know debuted at number one on the Billboard country charts when it was released earlier this year.
