Simpson gushed about her current beau NFL player Eric Johnson, saying he brings out the best in her.
While at the 2010 Women's Conference, Simpson told US entertainment show Extra: 'I feel as if I'm committed at the moment.
'There's no better feeling than that, I love a relationship where it's give and take and brings out the best in each other - it's great to have a healthy relationship.'
Although the 30-year-old said dealing with all the hype in the media surrounding her weight has been a 'pain'.
She added: 'Nobody wants to hear somebody talk about their weight every week.
'It took a little bit for me to get over everything that I went through with the media but standing up for myself and standing up for women has really empowered me to be a better person.'
