Jessica Simpson will sing for US troops.
The 'With You' singer will fly to Kuwait to entertain soldiers who are currently on duty in the Middle Eastern country.
She said: "I am heading to Kuwait to do a show for the troops, then back in the studio. "It's truly an honour to perform for the troops. I get to serve my country by doing what I love to do in front of thousands of brave men in uniform. It's every girl's dream!"
Her trip is being sponsored by social networking site, MySpace, under the name Operation MySpace. Other acts set to perform at the concert on March 10 include the Pussycat Dolls and rock bands Disturbed and Filter.
Jessica is the latest in a long line of stars to perform for the armed services. She follows in the footsteps of Marilyn Monroe, Robin Williams, Mariah Carey and Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins.
In 2001, 'Ocean's Eleven' stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts and Andy Garcia visited US troops at a military base in Turkey. While they were there they signed autographs, chatted and posed for pictures with the soldiers in a bid to boost their morale.
