Jessica Simpson has welcomed her second child.
The 32-year-old singer and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, are now parents to a bouncing baby boy.
Ace Knute Johnson was born at a Los Angeles-area hospital via Caesarean section on Sunday, a spokesperson for the star told Us Weekly.
The baby boy will be little brother to the couple's 14-month-old daughter, Maxwell.
Jessica's representative said mother and baby are both healthy.
"Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great," the spokesperson said.
"Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."
The baby's unique middle name is a tribute to Eric's Swedish paternal grandfather, Knute Johnson.
Jessica revealed in February the couple's plans to name their baby boy Ace but kept his middle name under wraps.
The following month she mistakenly revealed his sex when discussing her morning sickness with American late night host Jimmy Kimmel.
"The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous," she laughed, adding, "Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"
Jessica and former American football player Eric, 33, announced they were expecting their second child in November.
The couple began dating in May 2010 and became engaged six months later.
They are believed to be planning a wedding for later this year.
