Jessica Simpson is anxious to get her body back.
The Fashion Star mentor welcomed her second child with National Football League player Eric Johnson on Sunday.
Now that her son Ace Knute is born, she is keen to slim down.
"Whenever the doctors give me the go-ahead, I'll start training," she told People magazine.
"I'm anxious to have my body back for myself, but I have to be patient. I don't know how long it's going to take, but I'm planning on working hard."
Jessica has been in engaged to her children's father since the fall of 2010.
They delayed their wedding once due to the birth of 14-month-old daughter Maxwell, then again to make way for her second pregnancy.
"I definitely look forward to the day that I can look into his eyes and make that commitment that we both really long for," she confessed. "He's just got to stop knocking me up!"
As well as getting hitched, Jessica has plenty of reason to drop the extra mass.
After the birth of her little girl she signed on as a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.
Jessica, 32, and Eric, 33, are apparently thrilled with their new addition.
The tot reportedly takes after his dad already.
"The baby is beautiful," the insider told Us Weekly. "He has Eric's little chin dimple!
"[They] are so happy to have a boy. One of each, everybody wants that!"
Maxwell is also said to be happy about taking on the big sister role.
While she isn't old enough to fully understand the fuss around baby Ace, she is joyful about being a sibling.
"Maxwell is excited," the insider added. "She doesn't totally get it and understand, but she is very excited to have a brother."
