Joel Madden has joked he likes to sit in a room with all his trophies.
The Good Charlotte rocker bagged a prestigious Logie Award at the Australian ceremony last night for his role as mentor on the country's version of TV talent show The Voice.
The singer quipped he's added the gong to his vast "collection" of accolades.
"I have a room in my house that I sit in with all my trophies and I just look at them all and kind of just feel good about myself," he laughed to Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O.
"I was pretty excited about this award because I've never gotten a TV award. The only awards I could show were ones voted for by fans. [Good Charlotte] were never a big awards band, so I was pretty stoked."
Following the ceremony in Melbourne, Joel let his hair down at an after-party.
It seems the 34-year-old made the most of the celebrations.
"I literally just got out of a casino somewhere... nice club, good food; it was all free! I saw all kinds of filth, lots of scandalous things going on!" he joked.
"People are allowed to have a good time, it's allowed here [in Australia]; it's just another excuse to party really hard!"
Joel's award certainly made his family proud, with both his wife Nicole Richie and sibling Benji Madden congratulating the star.
Nicole - who he has children Harlow and Sparrow with - took to the internet to show how happy she was for Joel's success.
"She actually put a little Instagram on [her page], it was really sweet. She was texting me all night, she was really excited, also my brother. I've got a good family!" he smiled.
