Joel Madden: I’m so lucky

Joel Madden wishes that the whole world could experience the beautiful love he shares with his wife Nicole Richie.

The Good Charlotte musician and the fashion designer married on December 11 2010. Nicole and Joel share two children together, daughter Harlow, four, and son Sparrow, three.

Joel cherishes his marriage with Nicole.

"Special dedication to my wife," he posted on his Tumblr account.

"We just spent a few days off the grid celebrating our second wedding anniversary.

"Sometimes I keep it to myself and sometimes I can't help myself and I gotta tell the whole world how much I love her. This is one of those times ... I feel like the luckiest man alive to have my wife and kids. When the world outside breaks me down, they build me back up. Hope everyone out there finds this kind of love."

Joel has spoken previously about how much he respects his wife.

"You cannot f**k with her. You can't f**k with Nicole, even if you think you are f**king with her," he revealed during an interview on Shane Power's show Pop Goes the Culture on the HAHAJK podcast network recently.

"I've never met anyone on her level."
