The 31-year-old classically trained star hid her blonde locks under a brunette wig and headed to Leicester Square Tube station earlier today for a spot of busking.
Jenkins, who carried out the stunt in conjunction with London's ES Magazine, later posted a message on her Twitter page saying the experience had been “lots of fun” and that she’d raised “a whopping £16” for her efforts.
She tweeted: 'Undercover… Testing out the theory as to whether blondes have more fun?… Yes, that was me busking at Leicester Square Tube this morning for ESMagOfficial. Lots of fun, raised a whopping £16!'
