Katherine Jenkins says it would be "fun" to star in a Broadway musical.
The Welsh opera singer is currently competing in the US TV show Dancing with the Stars. She has mastered a series of ballroom and Latin routines for the series and received a perfect score for her two dances in the final earlier this week. Rumours have been circulating about Katherine showing off both her stunning voice and dance moves in a musical theatre production. The beauty admits it would be a tempting challenge.
"Maybe, I have always said I would like to do something like that in the future," she told UK TV show Daybreak, when asked if she would like to star on Broadway. "Again, I am not sure about the timing, but it would be fun to put what I have learnt into practice."
The mezzo-soprano also discussed the revealing costumes she wears on Dancing with the Stars. Although Katherine was initially nervous about flashing too much flesh on TV, she soon adjusted to the sexy outfits and has become more comfortable with her body.
"When you start on this show, they give you a form and ask you what you don't want to show," the 31-year-old explained. "So I was like, 'Practically everything. I don't want to show my legs, I don't want to show my stomach, I don't want to show cleavage.' And they warned me, 'Don't worry as the weeks go on you will get more used to it.' Last week I think I had it all out, you get immune to it!"
Katherine is up against Donald Driver and William Levy in the final.
