The 46-year-old actress has become renowned for her role as the fashion-forward, designer brand-loving lead in the Sex And The City series, but she spoke about her down-to-earth life in a revealing new interview.
She admitted that despite looking like she can do it all, even she feels “overwhelmed” at times.
Parker revealed she envies stay-at-home mums when she sees them stay back at school after dropping off their kids to chat amongst themselves.
“There’s a part of me that wishes I could be there,” she told ABC’s Katie Couric. “What I have learned from being a parent is how much you learn from everybody else and how valuable it is.”
Talking about her routine, she then added, “I sing along all day long as I’m driving my minivan, dropping kids off…. Respect the van!
“We got ourselves a minivan and I’m telling you, it’s the most wonderful car.”
She added she is not worried about the attention her day-to-day life gets from photographers.
“I think the things that are more painful to me are not the intrusion of paparazzi, it’s the lack of civility that I find more intimidating and more painful an experience,” she said.
