Steven Tyler: Scherzinger is stunning

Steven Tyler will never be as 'bad a** looking' as Nicole Scherzinger.

The Aerosmith singer is a judge on hit TV talent show American Idol opposite Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. The American X Factor launched recently, and Steven thinks it doesn't match up to its more established counterpart.

He admires raven-haired judge Nicole's beauty though.

't's all right. They're not finding the talent that we are. That will always be my brag,' he told WWD.

' will never look as good as the Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger. I'll never be as bad a** looking as Nicole.'

Steven is a big fan of his fellow judge Jennifer. The 63-year-old star thinks the international superstar is a credit to females in the music industry.

''m going to fall in love with her all over again this year,' he gushed. 'And now she's single. I'm in a relationship with Erin Brady, my girlfriend. But J.Lo is a force to be reckoned with. At the end of the day, it's all fun. She's such a female. She respects my talent, and she knows I love her. It's all good.'

Steven gets on wonderfully with Randy too. The legendary musician says the music producer is very knowledgeable when it comes to the industry, and complements his and Jennifer's strengths perfectly.

'And Randy's so smart with all the up-and-coming and today's artists because he's a producer and knows all these kids,' he said. ' just know from whence I came. Jennifer knows dance and feeling and the star quality, and the professional side. Randy knows his melody and the today-ness of it all. And I know my melody, rhythm and the old-school stuff.'

Steven published his memoirs Does the Noise in My Head Bother You this year. The star has thought about when his life story could possibly be made into a movie.

't's either as soon as the plane goes down, or in my lifetime,' he said. I'm thinking since Ron Howard bought my book, his production company is thinking about doing something. It's collected thoughts. It's all this sh*t I've been thinking about for 40 years. This whole thing with Aerosmith has been like a dream come true. It's like it's been plotted out and planned and written about before. Every time something happens, I think, 'Is this a movie?''
