Amy Adams: `Pregnancy left me with a muffin top`

The Fighter actress and her fiancé Darren Le Gallo welcomed their first child, Aviana Olea, 18-months ago, but she’s in no rush to lose the last few pounds of baby weight.

“I read about these actresses who get on a stationary bike two weeks after giving birth and I’m like, ‘What? Where did you push your baby out of?’” the 37-year-old told InStyle. “Since having Aviana, I have a muffin top, and that’s okay right now.”

And while she admits that she’s no earth mother, the actress said that motherhood has given her a new serenity.

“I’m definitely not one of those women who make it look easy. I’m always running late — and look, there’s guacamole on my purse!” she said.

“But I’m more patient than I ever thought I would be, and I’m not so hard on myself anymore.”

There’s only one thing left to sort out and that’s the wedding – although Amy can’t quite decide when she wants to have it.

“I’ll say to Darren, ‘What do you think of May?’ and he’ll say, ‘May. Ha, ha. You just let me know.’ I just can’t decide!

“I am putting more pressure on myself now that we have Avi. I’ll figure it out soon.”
