The 36-year-old actress said she had to turn to members of the crew to find new curse words to use.
“I ran out of curse words,” she laughed, during a red carpet interview on US television. “I asked the crew. As you know, television and movie crews have all sorts of curse word up their sleeves.”
Adams, who declared she was “nervous” about wearing a borrowed Cartier necklace with diamonds and a huge emerald, described The Fighter film set as a real “boys club”.
“We were encouraged to be a boy in the boys club, so I felt like I got right in there with everybody,” she said. “I felt like I got right in there with everybody. I felt like I was one of the guys. I had a great time.”
Asked if she now knew how to throw the perfect punch, she said: “You’ve got to put your body behind it.”
