The 36-year-old appears in new flick The Fighter but revealed while she might look prim and proper, she has previously got in to a real-life fight.
In an appearance on US chat show Chelsea Lately yesterday, host Handler asked Amy, have you ever been in a physical fight with a girl?
Adams said: "Yes, yes, I have."
But the star admits her girl 'cat fight', was very different to what you might see in films.
Amy said: "There was a good reason, she was really drunk and she wanted to drive and she was just being unreasonable and she was trying to get her keys from me.
"[And] in the movies... they slap people to get to them to be reasonable. So I slapped her across the face."
Strangely enough the girl, who Amy admits she is not friends with any more, didn't sober up and instead attacked her.
The actress's brother then had to stop the girls and break up the fight.
