Big Sean is ready to end 2012 in a big way. Not only will the Finally Famous MC be featured on Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music crew album Cruel Summer, but he will also be dropping a new mixtape and a new solo LP in the coming months.
Sean took to Twitter Monday night to prepare fans for all that he has planned for his September 5 mixtape, Detroit. "We been working hard, everyday for the past 8 months... And I can honestly say that me, my label, my team are more than excited how my new album sounds," Sean tweeted. "It's everything I want it to be n more. A true representation of what I stand for, what I believe in, how I live, great story telling, n great production. I took my time with it and it made all the difference."
There is no set date for Sean's sophomore album, but he did promise it'll come before the year closes and also teased the LP's first single, which he will be releasing "very soon."
"BEFORE my album, the GOOD Music Compilation 'Cruel Summer' is coming which is scheduled for next month (Sep. 18th). BUT before that... I wanted to give u guys this mixtape I have on deck, I feel now is the perfect time for it, I wanted to make sure my album was pretty much done before i gave u a mixtape," he said. "Its a completely different set of songs from my album n from the GOOD compilation."
The "My Last" spitter directed fans to his website, where he posted a 48-second, black-and-white preview clip of him with a snake slithering around his neck.
