ITV has reportedly signed McIntyre, 34, and Hasselhoff, 58, to appear on the judging panel alongside Amanda Holden.
McIntyre will take over from Piers Morgan, who has headed to the US to replace Larry King on his CNN chat show.
The former Baywatch star will take Simon Cowell's seat on BGT, while the music mogul launches the US X Factor.
However, it is thought that Cowell will return for the live shows.
Hasselhoff was previously a judge on America's Got Talent for four years, but left the show in January, saying that he wanted to work on his own reality show project.
Reports at the time suggested that his departure from the US show was because TV chiefs did not renew his contract due to his well-documented battle with alcohol.
